The proposed site for the cell tower at Hunter Park was previously rejected by the Town of Manchester when AT&T applied. Now this is the second attempt by Verizon to circumvent the town bylaws and the 450 local residents who formally rejected Verizon from using this address for the tower. It is a recreational, residential, school, town office and police and fire department locality that is in a MU2 Zone. Acknowledged

Please see attached regarding Red Fox Community School's opposition to Verizon's proposed location of a cell tower at Hunter Park in Manchester, Vermont. Thank you. Acknowledged

This proposed site does not fit our Town plan or our zoning restrictions. It is a poor choice for a location for multiple reasons including zoning, being too close to a residential development. Too close to a school and too close to many youth activities year round. It is time to find a location that Manchester and its residents agree does not compromise our view shed in the main residential valley. Acknowledged

Petition w/450 signatures oppose RRHP site; zone not permitted via Town Plan, scenic recreational area w/ Rail Trail would be marred by industrial eyesore, beautiful view shed uglified, too close to nearby mobile home community, school and rink itself. SB and PC oppose, hired Propagation firm to determine best location for all parties concerned. Improved cell service needed but not at the expense of a cherished cultural, sports venue. Our town’s rights to self-determination, future come first. Acknowledged

I strongly oppose the plans of Verizon to build a cell tower on the recreational grounds of Hunter Park in Manchester. Besides the land being in the MU2 zone which doesn’t allow telecommunication towers, the proposed tower site is too close to a school, a residential road and to the recreational facilities. A petition with 450 signatures is opposing the location as well. Acknowledged

I oppose the Verizon cell tower at Hunter Park because it violates Manchester bylaws (MU2 zone prohibits towers), harms the park’s recreational nature and views, is too close to the emergency helicopter pad, and is less than the recommended 1,600-ft setback from Red Fox School, Homer Rd. mobile home community, and the rink. A petition with 450 signatures opposes this location. The town has hired a firm to find a better site in an approved zone. Acknowledged
