Case and Document Search

When you select a search option from the list below, you can click on the search button or select various search criteria to narrow your search before clicking on the search button.

Search by Case Number – Use this search if you would like to see a particular case or file a public comment in a case, and you know its case number.

Document Searches
Select one of these search options if you are looking for one or more documents that have been filed with or issued by the Commission. Some of these searches focus within one specific case, while others look more broadly across many cases. To view a public document, click on the magnifying glass in the search results. Confidential documents (those with a lock instead of a magnifying glass) are not viewable.

  • Recent Orders - List of all recent orders issued by the Commission in the last 10 days
  • Search Orders - Search all Commission orders based on criteria you select
  • Search CPGs - Search all Certificates of Public Good based on criteria you select
  • List Final Orders in a Case - List of all final orders in a specific case; you provide the case number
  • Documents in One Case - Search all documents in a specific case based on criteria you select
  • Get ePUC Document Numbers - Search prefiled testimony, exhibits, affidavits, stipulations, and petitions in a specific case to get the ePUC document numbers for the list of documents to be admitted at an evidentiary hearing

Case Searches
Select one of these searches if you are looking for information about one or more cases that have been filed with the Commission. Most searches allow you to select various search criteria to tailor the results to your specific needs.

  • Search by Case Number - Find a specific case if you know the case number
  • New Cases - List of all recent new cases filed with the Commission in the last 10 days that are being processed in ePUC; you can select a town to show only cases involving projects located in that town
  • Pending Cases - List of cases currently pending before the Commission
  • Petition Cases - List of petition case numbers and captions
  • All Cases - List of all case numbers and captions (this search can be used to search by the Petitioner/Applicant name)
  • Search by Witness Name - Find cases in which a particular witness testified; this search will not show any legacy cases in the results
  • Search by Attorney Name - Find cases in which a particular attorney served as an official representative; this search will not show any legacy cases in the results
  • Searches Specific to Siting Cases
  • Other CPGs - List of cases involving other CPGs
  • Dig-Safe Cases - List of cases involving notices of probable dig-safe violations
  • Financing Cases - List of cases involving acquisition/financing
  • Report Cases - Find reports filed as stand-alone cases (not as compliance filings)
  • Hearings, Workshops, and Other Events - Find hearings, workshops, and other events

Case Log
Select this option if you are looking for the actions/events that have occurred on a case.

  • Case Log - Use this search to print a list of some or all of the actions/events that have ocurred on a particular case

Case Subscriptions
Select this option if you are looking for the list of cases you are subscribed to.
