I stongly oppose the proposed cell tower at this location. The location does not comply with the town plan or the land use ordinance. Furthermore, the location is along a recreational nature trail, the Rail Trail, and the view of a tower while walking or running along this trail would greatly dimish the experience. The cell tower is also in close proximity to an elementary school, The Red Fox Community School, and this proximity would lower the property value of this community asset. Filed

Case Number: 24-0097-PET PUC please deny the petition to build a cell tower facility on the designated MU 2 parcel in Manchester. Please note towers are prohibited in MU 2's. Verizon has a reputation for lack of community concerns. The area of focus is used by all residents for creational purposes. It is also in proximity of an emergency helicopter pad and police and fire. It violates the distance required between residences and a school. It will be an eyesore and health hazard to residents. Acknowledged

Case Number: 24-0097-PET I urge the PUC to deny the petition to build a cell tower facility on the designated MU 2 parcel where such towers are prohibited. The area is also used for recreational purposes (park, skating rink and Rail Trail) frequented by families. It is also in proximity of an emergency helicopter pads. It violates the distance required between residences and a school. The proposed cell tower facility also fails to comply with the aesthetic character required by the town. Acknowledged

As a resident and taxpayer of Manchester, VT, I am writing in regards to the proposed Verizon telecommunications tower placement at Hunter Park/Riley Rink. I am in opposition to this site as it obstructs our beautiful views, it exceeds town height restrictions, as well as additional negative impacts on the health of our children who are in close proximity of the tower and those who walk the town "Rail Trail". Please find another alternative for placement. Acknowledged

Hello, I am filing as a resident of the town, a property owner with an effected viewshed, and as a member of the Manchester Conservation Commission. The proposed location for a cell tower at Northshire Civic Center is a bad location for many reasons: firstly, it goes against our zoning and Town Plan that uses this area for kids and recreation regularly; secondly, because it greatly impacts our viewshed both from the downtown scenic area and from my property on the ridgeline above (balloon). Manchester's Town Plan has specific zoning and ordinances re the placement and ht of telecommunications towers.Verizon's project would violate both criteria.Zone is MU2, ht. exceeds 130-ft limit. An industrial multi-carrier cell tower would greatly de- tract from Hunter Park's scenic recreational nature, w/flashing red lights at night, visible from multiple view-sheds Less obtrusive options exist. Selectboard&Planning Comm. oppose project. Location not in best interest of town's long term goals. Acknowledged
