 This attempt by CCI to deregulate consumer wireline services is quite frankly outlandishly detrimental to the public, and I strongly encourage the PUC not to accept their proposal.The skyrocketing price of landline service has increasingly kept it out of reach of consumers, and many of the suggested replacement services are nowhere near as reliable or high quality.The most prominent and recent issue that's come to light are the DDoS attacks against voip providers that have crippled the industry.
