The VT Sierra Club argues that Hydro Quebec hydro projects are not renewable because they fail to meet the definition of Renewable Energy in statute, since they use in a non-regenerating way fisheries, wildlife, and carbon sink resources that are consumed at a rate faster than their regeneration rate.
